I Remember - Damien Rice

Esta canción es una de las canciones más bonitas que existen (en mi opinión). Sobretodo el principio cantado por Lisa Hanigan... Y es que señoras y señores, si no conocéis a Damien Rice ya estáis tardando! Es un artistazo (es otro de esos a los que quiero ver al menos una vez en la vida).

Estos últimos días ha sido de lo que más he escuchado mientras estudiaba y he pensado que ya iba siendo hora de que pusiera alguna canción suya en el blog. Ya me diréis qué os parece...

Estos últimos días los chicos de Mumford and Sons han sidos mis acompañantes musicales, y como aun no había subido ninguna canción suya al blog, he pensado que ya iba siendo hora. Había pensado empezar con Little Lion Man, que es la canción con la que les descubrí, pero mientras miraba su página de youtube (Mumford and Sons) he visto este vídeo y no he podido no ponerlo...

Capitán - Miss Caffeina

Esta semana se ha cerrado el cartel del BBK Live de este año. Las última novedades son los grupos: The Twilight singers, Les Savy Fav, Japanese Voyeurs y Enkore. Que estarán bien, no lo niego pero para mí no son lo que se dice conocidos... vamos, en la vida había oído hablar de ellos.

Por eso mismo, esta noticia me dió bastante igual (he de admitir que mantenía la esperanza de que trajeran a We Are Standard, aunque sabía que era algo dificil). Pero, pero, pero ayer hubo otra noticia relacionada con el Festival que sí que me alegró y es que este año vendrán a la Carpa Vodafone: MISS CAFFEINA (oe oe oe!!!), Catpeople, Estereotypo, Oink! Oink!, Sweet Oblivion... (aquí aparecen todos).

Por si no lo habeís notado, los que más ganas tengo de ver en directo son los chicos de Miss Caffeina (tocarán el jueves), y es que desde que los escuché en el Larguero me encantaron! Así que no os doy más la chapa y os dejo con Capitán una de sus canciones más conocidas:

Llevaba tiempo pensando en leer algún libro en inglés, y ¿qué mejor que empezar con estas novelas romanticonas? Había leído la primera parte en castellano, y como me gustó me animé a coger los cuatro libros en inglés (terminaron siendo el opari de olentzero de @sharem xD).

Este libro es la segunda parte de la tetralogía “Cuatro Bodas”. Y creo que en castellano su título es Rosas sin espinas. Como os dije en la reseña anterior, estos libros están protagonizados por 4 amigas Mac, Emma, Laurel y Parker. Mac fue la protagonista del primer libro, y ahora le toca el turno a Emma.

Dentro de la empresa de bodas que tienen, Emma se encarga de las flores. Es super romántica y tiene a un montón de tíos besando el suelo que ella pisa, pero todavía no ha encontrado a su príncipe azul. Y como no podía ser de otra manera, en esta novela lo encuentra. Lo único es que su príncipe lleva siendo su amigo unos cuantos años y tiene un poco de fobia al compromiso.

No diré más, pues sino os estropeo la historia, pero al igual que dije con el libro anterior, este libro está bien para pasar el rato (y a modo de lectura ligera).

Después de un parón vuelvo con los Coldplay's Bests y sigo con otra de mis favoritas:

Creo que la canción salió en el EP Sparks (del año 2000), pero yo la descubrí en el dvd del concierto Live 2003 (que demuestra claramente que los conciertos de Coldplay son la leche). Me encanta muchísimo la versión, las luces que ponen... todo! Ya me diréis que os parece...
