Sorteo ~ La Huella de un Beso ~

Hola! os vuelvo a traer un sorteo que me ha parecido interesante. Para celebrar el día del libro, Mideclipse sortea 5 ejemplares de un libro de Glattauer (se titula la huella de un beso). Sí, Glattauer es ese tipo que escribió Contra el viento del norte y su segunda parte, Cada siete olas (mis reseñas están aquí y aquí).

Últimamente apenas he tenido tiempo para leer, así que seguiré poniéndoos canciones. Esta vez me he decidido por el primer single del último disco de los Manic Street Preachers, titulado "Postcards from a young man". No es que sea una super fan de los Manic (como un super fan/hooligan que tuvimos al lado en el concierto que dieron en el BBK Live del año pasado), pero sí que tienen algunas canciones que me encantan.

Os pondría el vídeo oficial, pero youtube no me deja, así que os tendréis que conformar con el link y un directo de ellos (el sonido no es muy allá, pero podéis verles). Eso sí, la canción acaba en el min 3:18.

Coldplay's Bests III

Viendo el éxito que tiene el disco Parachutes en los comentarios, voy a seguir recabando opiniones sobre otros discos de Coldplay. Esta vez le toca a "A Rush of Blood to the Head" (2002) y voy a empezar con The Scientist. Y es que creo que esta fue la primera canción de Coldplay que me encantó e hizo que me interesara por el grupo.

El vídeo es algo extraño, y es que las imágenes están puestas al revés de como se grabaron (lo entenderéis mejor cuando lo veáis). Empieza con Chris Martin en un colchón y vemos como va pasando por una ciudad hasta llegar al bosque y.... xD.

Sobretodo, destacaría el hecho de que Martin se "aprendió la letra" (al revés) para que cuando se viera el vídeo pareciera que cantaba la canción (esto es un puntazo en mi opinión). Y sin más dilación, os dejo con el vídeo:

SPIES!!!

En mi opinión esta es una de las canciones más bonitas de Coldplay. La canción está incluida en el primer álbum de estudio del grupo: Parachutes (2000). A pesar de ser el primer disco, diría que muchas de las mejores canciones de Coldplay están ahí (everything's not lost, don't panic, shiver, yellow, trouble...). Y es que desde entonces la banda ya prometía...
 Ahora que lo pienso, la verdad es que sería un puntazo que la tocaran en directo. A los que venís conmigo al festival, ¿qué os parece si llevamos un cartel al concierto? xDD
