Talk Tonight - Oasis

Me encanta Oasis. Es uno de esos grupos míticos que por mucho que pase el tiempo sigo escuchando. Viendo la lista de canciones que he puesto en el blog me he dado cuenta de que sólo he puesto una canción de ellos y siendo uno de mis grupos favoritos eso no puede seguir así mucho más tiempo. Como en la última semana me ha dado por Talk tonight, es la que os dejo hoy. Además, es una de las canciones cantadas por Noel, asi que es aun mejor ;)

Ayer vía twitter (¿qué raro verdad? xD) me enteré de que la revista NME había publicado el siguiente artículo: 50 most explosive choruses. Mi traducción de andar por casa sería algo así como los 50 mejores estribillos.

¿A que no sabeis qué grupo está en primer lugar? La respuesta no es Coldplay, sino OASIS!!!! Si es que ya decía yo que Noel es un super plus.... Si, ya sé que están separados hace tiempo (una pena no haber podido verlos en directo snif snif) pero aun así Oasis es un grupo que me encanta y esta canción es una de las mejores que tienen (y además Noel la canta!!!)

The Roller - Beady Eye

Como dije, voy a empezar a ir subiendo canciones de los grupos que vendrán este año al BBK Live. Después de los Crystal Castles, sigo con los Beady Eye, que para los que no sepáis quienes son, os resumo que son Oasis sin Noel Gallagher. La canción que he elegido es The Roller. 

No está mal, pero tengo la sensación de que les falta algo... sigue siendo la misma voz, el mismo estilo, pero la letra no me parece nada del otro mundo (lo que no implica que todas las letras de oasis sean geniales). Seguiré escuchándolos en spotify y seguiré informando... 

*No se nota nada que soy pro-Noel y no pro-Liam ¿verdad? xD

Sobre el BBK Live 2011

Desde hace unos años los de Bilbao (y alrededores) tenemos la gran suerte de tener un festival de música. Gracias a eso he podido ver a muchos grupos que me gustaban y descubrir a muchos otros que han terminado gustándome tanto o más que aquellos a los que iba a ver. En todos estos años he tenido muchas anécdotas (ejem mojitos ejem) y espero seguir teniéndolas en futuras ediciones. 

Este año estamos de especial enhorabuena, y es que no sólo vienen buenos grupos (30 seconds to mars, kaiser chiefs, kasabian, crystal castles, russian red....), sino que además vienen mis adorados, fantásticos, geniales, increíbles... 

 

 COLDPLAY!!!!

(ya sé que no es novedad para muchos, pero tenía que comentarlo en el blog, que hasta ahora no lo había hecho)

He de admitir que pensaba que para ver a Coldplay tendría que irme hasta Madrid, Barcelona, Londres o algún otro sitio donde tocaran pues la opción de que se acercaran a Bilbo me parecía irreal, pero el festival me ha demostrado que no hay que perder la esperanza en este tipo de asuntos xDD. 

En un principio íbamos a ser unos super-suertudos, pues iban a sacar su próximo disco en mayo o así y este concierto (que creo es el único que dan en España) sería de los primeros con el nuevo disco en el mercado. Lamentablemente, han retrasado el lanzamiento del disco hasta diciembre de este año, pues si sacan un disco ellos quieren que sea bueno. Conste que me parece muy bien que una banda se preocupe por la calidad de lo que hacen y que no pierdan la cabeza por la pasta que van a ganar (y es que creo que ha estas alturas les sobra...), pero estuve unos cuantos días rebotada, para qué negarlo...

Pero el festival dura 3 días y Coldplay no son los únicos que vendrán. Entre otros tendremos la oportunidad de ver a:

Bueno, bueno, este año repiten Kaiser Chiefs!!! Me encantan. Me gustaban sus canciones, pero desde que les vi hace un par de años en el BBK live soy super fan y el cantante lo da TODO en directo, así que show asegurado! Otros que vienen son 30 seconds to mars. Conozco algunas de sus canciones y creo que me gustan más sus acústicos, pero aun así creo que darán un buen concierto (y además veremos a Jared Leto que eso es un extra xD). 

También prometen los conciertos de Crystal Castles, Kasabian, The Black Crowes, Blondie (aunque estos deben estar ya viejetes...), The Chemical Brothers... Pero apenas he escuchado nada de estos grupos, así que tendré que ponerme al día con ayuda de spotify.

Pero el concierto más polémico de todos será el de Amy Winehouse por supuesto!!! Supongo que al igual que pasó cuando vino el Pete Doherty haremos apuestas de si llega o no (y de llegar en qué condiciones xDD) a dar el concierto.

Aunque los Beady Eye (= OASIS - Noel Gallagher) también tienen tela y es que a una servidora le encantaba oasis y ahora que no esta Noel no sé que esperarme de la banda. A favor tienen que al seguir Liam la voz es la misma, pero yo creo que una de las mejores cosas de Oasis eran sus letras y era Noel el que las escribía no Liam!

Creo que por hoy es suficiente. Sólo deciros que en las siguientes semanas/meses iré poniendo canciones relacionadas con estos grupos y también tengo previsto hacer una lista de las mejores canciones de Coldplay (sí, con eso tendré para un montón de entradas xD).
