Es martes y esta semana es algo chunga, asi que hoy vengo con una de esas canciones míticas que alegran o que por lo menos te hacen bailar. Creo que casi todo el mundo la conoce (y si no lo hacen deberían). La otra razón por la que he elegido a The Cure es porque este verano veré a Robert Smith y los suyos en el BBK Live!!! Si, señoras y señores, ayer me compré el bono!!!! xD Solo me queda decir una cosa: disfrutad de la canción!

Sobre el BBK Live 2012

El viernes los organizadores del Bilbao BBK Live Festival anunciaron que los grandes THE CURE venían este año. A decir verdad no tenía muy buena opinión del cartel de este año. Entre otras causas es porque repiten por tercera vez con Vetusta Morla. Conste que es un grupo que me gusta mucho, pero traerlos durante dos años seguidos sin que entre medias hayan publicado nada no me parece bien. Podeis traer a Love of Lesbian, que probablemente para verano hayan acabado de grabar su nuevo disco!!! 

Aunque si los organizadores necesitan ideas de nuevos grupos a los que traer yo tengo unas cuantas: Shout Out Louds, The XX, Mumford & Sons, Mando Diao, We are Standard, White Lies, Still Corners, Serenades, Fanfarlo, Delorean, Jero Romero.... Y puestos a repetir que traigan a unos que han publicado nuevo disco: The Maccabees, Los Campesinos!....

Pero basta ya de quejas, que vienen The Cure y Radiohead y eso no está nada mal. Mañana iré a por el bono y ya os iré informando sobre los siguientes anuncios.

¿Repetirán los djs de independance? Ojalá!

Ayer estaba en un bar y pusieron esta canción. Todo estaría bien si no fuera porque me sabía la letra de la canción y era incapaz de recordar de quién era. ¿Cómo no pude recordar que era de mis queridos The Cure? en fin... no sé si os suele pasar esto, pero cuando a mi me pasa me pone de los nervios. Pero una ver resuelto el misterio (gracias san google) aprovecho y os pongo la canción, que es perfecta para una mañana de sábado soleada.

Not in love - Crystal Castles

Como ya dije en la entrada anterior voy a ir poniendo canciones que me gustan de grupos que vendrán al BBK Live este año. 

Los Crystal Castles son de Canadá y en los últimos años están teniendo mucho éxito (especialmente sus últimos dos discos). El grupo está compuesto por Ethan Kath (compositor, músico y productor del grupo) y Alice Glass (cantante del grupo). He escuchado poco de su discografía, pero por ahora os dejo con una canción que me ha encantado. Se titula "Not in love" y me veo obligada a añadir que quien canta es Robert Smith (que es el cantante de The Cure).
